Hi there,

Most digital cameras seem to only take Type I cards. What is the difference between these and Type II? Are the newer cards backwards-compatible with Type I?

Sorry, lots of questions!

Thanks loads,
Chris

Chris,
I seem to remember that type II cards are slightly bigger than type I. A camera that uses type II cards can also use type I but not the other way round.

P.S. Check Crucial.co.uk for good card prices. I bought a 128Mb CF card and it holds slightly more photo's than my more expensive Sandisk one. It's also a bit quicker.
