Combined Monitor & TV ?

Gamers please help , we have decided the spec for a Desktop gaming PC but now want to get the best monitor for @ 250 quid (ish) , will lcd TVs work ? or should we stick to the best dedicated monitor we can find ? ... Thanx , happy new year !

I prefer the Dell as I have his one click here and although it is expensive you will be hard pushed to beat it.

I use a combined one, and I find its OK,(Its a 19" Technika with USB recording that Tescos had for £94) but don't forget that TVs and monitors are each designed for a specific purpose.

You could get a monitor and a cheap plug in USB tuner.

We have a TV with an HDMI input and use a ACER REVO fixed on the back of it. Great.
