Combine two partitions

My HD is partitioned into C;D;E;F. I use C for the operating system - WinXP Pro - and programmes. This partition is rapidly running out of space. I have done the usual things - cleared restore points etc etc. The F partition has 20G and is, at present unused. The D & E partitions are for various files.

My question is - would it be possible to combine the C and F partitions thus giving me more space for necessary files?

I do not want to interfere with the D and E partitions if at all possible - although I suppose I could transfer the files to a flash drive if I had to while re-jigging the partitions.
