Colour printing

Hi, how do I get the colours I see on my monitor to print as seen. I always get a difference between what I see and what is printed. Any help would be greatly received.

Adjust your monitor first using a program like click here then try again. You may have to alter the printer settings for colour as well. The type of paper you print on and the ink will also make a difference. You will never get a perfect match as one is reflected and the other transmitted colour.

your Monitor emits light.

The Photo reflects light.

As 'wiz-king' says, the quality of the Inks and the Paper that you use will affect the results that you get, but the fact that your Monitor is made up of lots of tiny little coloured pixels with a very bright light behind them is why you don't get the same colours.

Most Printers Drivers can be adjusted in the Properties when you select print Extra Settings.
Its a case of trial and error

Many things can affect the print other than the above, including Paper and Ink

Ta for the help, I'll fiddle with it and see what happens.
