Colour change for the desktop text

  Groove_remover 20:55 24 Oct 03

I'm using Win XP and for the life of me, I cannot work out a simple thing like changing the colour of the text under the icons on the desktop.
Someone put me out of my misery....please.

Right click on the desktop and select properties. You should b able to get what you want from there.

Click on "Selected Items" from the menu you see, and the Font window which is greyed out will become active. From there choose the colour and size of font you wish to use. J.

Djohn - thanks but that only works when I highlight them. I want the colour to change for good.

See what you mean. Just had all my settings at weird and wonderful colours trying each one out! Good job I took a note of each one or I'd never have got back to normal. Well the PC anyway, not me! ;o)

Think you might need one of those little downloads, like tweak tools or similar. j.

I'll have a look around for one. Cheers anyhow
