coding errors with FP 2000

I recently put my website into a competition, mainly for the feedback.

Among other very fair comments I am told that there are '73 html coding errors on front page alone, mainly due to the use of Microsoft Frontpage (eg no document declarations'.

Can someone tell me what this means, please. I use Front Page 2000 which I rather like. Is there a facility in FP2000 to highlight these?

The website index page is at: click here.

I realise there are several other problems with some of the pages.

Many thanks fourm member. A few questions...

What does w3c stand for?

Also, how can I see what IE says about the page? Is there any means of highlighting the errors?

Yes, I *am* thinking of updating the version, but thought I would wait for the next one.

Many thanks - you have given me something to think about! Although I don't think I'll change anything - just make a note of the URLs for future info.
