I have downloaded Intcodec -v6.783 from a slightly 'doggy' website, but I can't install it from the Run Command... am I going about this the wrong way please!

The best source for codecs is klite click here nothing dodgy (or doggy) with them.

Download the whole pack and they will be there whenever you need them - no need to use command prompts or anything like that.

It would be advisable to do a System Restore to rid yourself of the dodgy download first.
