Hi,what are coasters I keep seeing this word from time to time.

Coaster is a term used for recordable CDs and DVDs trashed in a faulty burn operation.

Hi Dan, Before you get round to making your very own coasters I suggest that when you burn a CD, first of all burn it to a CD-RW disc (re-writable) then if it works OK you can burn it again on an ordinary CD-R disc without wasting it.
If it doesn't work on a CD-RW you can simply write over it and keep trying until it does work.
This way you will be turning out good CDs without making any more coasters.
