cmos battery notepad

I have an old multimedia portable computer it just says model 98 on the back with 'Pico'written on the cover. I believe that the cmos battery has gone because I have to set the date and time at each bootup. The problem is that I have no idea how to access the motherboard and the manual is no use at all.
Can anyone please help

I think a laptops will have a rechargeable CMOS battery. They take a long time to charge and your Pico is old so the rechargeable battery may be exhausted from lack of use.
