Clunk clink every trip

I have a ten month old Packard Bell 5053 PC, and it makes a clunk click sound every time I log on to my isp, and sometimes when i close one window and open another............should i be unduly peturbed, ( whatever that means)?

Does it do it with the speakers off?

There is a Windows sound effect similar to the one you describe which occurs on some but not all mouse clicks in certain programs - IE is one of those.

If it is and you find it worrying/irritating, post back. It can easily be removed.

actually it is the hard drive which makes the clunk click sound as it spins into action.....should i worry? ( about the pc i mean, not about the fact that it has not rained in London for 3 months, and that every uk tv programme seems to about people trying to leave the country, usually to Spain);)
