clipboard ?

hi, is there a limit to what the clipboard will hold, sort of like the "recycle bin" only i want to "copy" a load of music tracks onto it, sort out some folders then bring the lot back..

Not sure about the answer to your question, but why not just create a new folder on your desktop, store your tracks in that until you sort out and then transfer them to their new location...alB

For ordinary purposes Copying something to the clipboard displaces whatever was there before.

There are ways round this, but far better to make new folders as temporary holding 'bins', and then copy your data back to the original folders after you have re-organised them.
