this no longer seems to happen this morning, as i find that if i click a link in the forum now the existing page changes to the new subject whereas before it would open in another window, have had a look at folder options but no joy, any ideas? xp pro sp2 ie6

It's in the opening post - "xp pro sp2 ie6"!

Johnny, I always use right click "open in new window"!

i understand that i could do that but it was much handier before as it automatically opened in another window especially with 'click here'

I was going to suggest that the links might be controlled by javascript (which is used to open new windows) and therefore might have been blocked, but I've looked at the source code and they actually use the old method of a target value instead.

Mystery, I guess.
