I have tried several "click here" on PCA today but none work, any ideas please, obviously to do with my settings.

Like others (I think)if I c/o start/windows update or start/search/files folders, nothing happens, I am guessing they are connected but dont know how.

on the click here link, and select 'open in new window' from the drop-down menu.

It sounds to me as if you may have installed something that's preventing pop-up windows. Spyware Doctor is know for stopping 'click here' links from working.

and I'll move it across there now.

http://
windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

I've added a space after // to stop it turning into click here

Copy that, paste into the address bar, delete the space after // and click Go.

It turned out I had IEFix already as you reccomended it before, and yes it worked thanks.
I was a little unsure if I was being asked for the XP SP2 cd or the XP home edition cd.

you need.

I wrongly assumed that you would already have the IEFIX installed, but it just goes to show - assume nothing.
