Clearing Word documents

I know there is a "code" to enable me to go Start/Run to find Word documents in a list which can be deleted. Something like .*temp~. Can someone tell me the correct defintion please.

Windows XP

Thanks a lot

click on search and put in the name of one of the saved docs if you can re call the title, or it may have been saved into 'my docs' post back if still in trouble.

In the search name box type *.doc
This will find all instances of word docs on your PC. When the search is complete click at the top of the columns in the found docs to sort by name, date, etc.
The asterisk means 'I don't care what is here', you can put things like ank*.doc means all doc names beginning with ank
