clearing 'run' and 'search'

is there a way to clear entries in the 'run' and 'search' utilities in windows XP?

Try ccleaner click here on the windows tab it lists clearing the run and search assistant.

i already have ccleaner and you're right it does list the search and run utilities. however it doesn't actually clear them. any other ideas?

The info is stored in MRU lists held in the registry. Do you have ad-aware SE as this cleans out MRU lists as well. Having just run a scan and pasting the results of the MRU run list it show as
