clearing password etc

There was a post here not long ago that showed how to clear all the cc details and password etc after surfing
Anyone please know how you do this

Try running click here . Someone in a previoust post had problems after running cleanup. I've used it for two years and no problems yet.

Thanks for the advice but this post i saw refered to a way you could delete the info by going to tools then i think it was options in the browser
Then you clicked onto some other setting

Could have been security or something.

Internet Explorer>tools>content>autocomplete>clear passwords and clear forms. On the general tab in Internet options Clear History

Firefox
Tools/Options Privacy, select History tab and hit the clear history button. Likewise for cookies, cache etc.
If you click on the "Settings" button, you can set it to clear whatever you want when it shuts down.
