choosing a pcmcia card - wpa

  mcnash 13:25 09 Aug 06

I've just set up a wireless router to connect my pc and laptop to broadband. All working fine with a borrowed usb adapter for the laptop, but I'd like to get a pcmcia card for it instead.

The only ones I've seen seem to offer wep security only, but advice seems to be that wpa is more secure, and the router offers it.

Any advice about that please? wep vs wpa? and where i can get a wpa-enabled pcmcia card?

You're right to demand WPA. I'll make some recommendations later when I have more time.

Strawballs has saved me the effort. There's not much point in adding anything to those choices.
