Choosing a new high-end computer

Hello,

I'm shortly wanting to buy a new computer set-up. I'd like to buy a complete ready-made system rather than assemble one myself.

The work I do falls into three areas - 3D animation, mainly using Lightwave and Vue, Video editing and 2D graphics with Photoshop and the like. I combine all three areas in my work, such as incorporating the 3D work into my video footage.

Can you advise me on a system that would most best suit these applications. There are several power systems reccommended by PC Advisor, but are some better suited to games, or would these be equally as good for my needs?

My price bracket would be around £1800.

Many thanks,

Kalpna.

Most high spec game machines would be ok with regards to CPU memory etc, But you should look at changing the graphics cards to either Matrox Millenium or Parhelia range, or Nvida Quadro or Professional range
