Choose the HD which Explorer opens by default

For the first time ever I have partitioned my primary HD so that software is in C:/ and data files in D:/. Explorer of course opens at the Start Menu in C:/ by default but I would rather it presented an expanded D:/ which at the moment I have to do manually.
How do I alter it?

No I don't have dual boot. I've just loaded XP Pro.

Thanks Diororus, looks like the information I need

In your shortcut for Explorer, enter the following line in the Target box (You may need to alter the directory if explorer.exe is stored in a directory with a different name)

C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /n,/e,D:
The "n" denotes a new copy of the program is to run and the "e" opens it expanded. You can modify the line to have explorer open with other discs/directories.
