Evening everyone,

I have just noticed that I no longer have the above option when going into

Start > Accessories > System Tools

Can anyone help with getting this back?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Angry ;)

Not sure about recovering your shortcut but if you go to start/run and type chkdsk you can run it from there.

type chkdsk /? to see all variations of chkdsk

right click desktop>select new>shortcut and then type chkdsk, press ok till the shortcut is on the desktop

Now go to C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories

Now copy and paste to there

Now here is the hard part, right click on the chkdsk icon and keep holding down and and drag it up to accessories>then system tools (keep the mouse right clicked all the time), now when in system tools, hover between 2 of the programmes, lets say backup and character map and then when you see a black line, let go of the mouse and it gives you the option to copy/move/cancel

Select move and your done

Thanks everyone for your posts.

I must be going mad.

Have followed VoG™'s link and it all came flooding back to me.

Sorry again
