Checking mail checks A drive

Using Outlook, have done for ever, but recenly when I go to check my mail, I get activity from the A drive as if the A drive is being checked. Have not used my A drive for ages, but the other day I was checking some old floppies, so I dont know whether that is related. No problems, mail is checked and delivered, but just curious as to why outlook would be checking a drive

Did you save an email to a floppy?

Clear out temp files in case there is a shortcut to the A drive.

Also remove those temp files in the recently viewed documents section of the start menu.

Diodorus Siculus thanks, no I didnt save any emails to floppy, and I use ccleaner to dispense my temp files on boot up
