For some strange reason my 3 years old PC has started to run Chkdsk on my D drive (I have a partitioned HD lettered C,D and E)whenever it starts and is also preventing me from defragging the D drive due to Chkdsk being scheduled.
However, it has run several times over the past week and never finds a problem, declaring all is OK. I am not experiencing any noticeable problem with the PC.
Can any of you experts out there give any indication why this should have suddenly started and how I can stop it?
Many thanks.
