Check disk failure

How do I get disk check on a blue screen to run right through without freezing, also if i click "Run", type in "chkdsk" etc, chkdsk runs in a small DOS screen, tells me faults have been found, but will not be fixed because the /f (fix) parameter has not been inserted. How or where do I do that please

Have you tried:

RIGHT click My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management -> RIGHT click on the disk you're interested in (if there's more than one) -> Properties -> Tools. In the Error checking box click on Check now then carry on from the new box that appears.
