Cheap CD-R Media Recommendation

  Sebby 01:36 07 Jan 04

I have always bought fairly cheap CD-R media as I go through many many discs, and do not see the point of spending a lot (unless it is for archival purposes). Until now, I've always bought the PC Line spindle of 100 CD-R discs @ ~£25 from PC World. However, the last spindle I bought were of a poor quality, and so I'm looking for something new at around the same price.

As I said, I always buy a spindle of 100 (cases are not required). They can be bog standard CD-R media with no label or anything, but I just want some that are of a better quality, and was wondering if anyone has had any good experiences.

Many thanks in advance.

Added to my postings for future reference as I, too, use CD-Rs like they are going out of fashion :o))

I get mine from click here around £20 per 100. I made a few coasters at first so I switched to branded CDs, but still got coasters. I found it was my burner so I bought a new burner from the same company. Have not made a coaster since.

I've burned over a 1000 Cds using the cheapo ones from makro or Ebuyer (£17 ish /100). Never had a coaster that was due to a faulty disc .

Thanks everyone.

I went for the Infiniti ones as they seem good value, so I'll let you know what they're like!
