Changing setting in Windows Boot Manager.

I have recently installed my DVD copy of Windows Vista Beta onto my 2nd HD and all seems to function correctly as I`m given the choice from Windows Boot Manager to either boot from XP or from Vista.

My question is that in Boot Manager the default setting is set at the 2nd choice - Vista but I would like this default setting changed to the 1st choice - Windows XP.

Thought it safer to ask in case I have a problem.

Many thanks.

Start
Run
Typein msconfig
Boot.ini

This shows the boot paths and allows you to set what path you want as default

Many thanks for your reply but I looked Boot.ini where the two OS`s are listed but there seems no setting to specify the one at reboot.

Sorry if I seem a bit dull.

Accessed Boot.ini from Vista and all is now well - so far.

Thanks again.
