changing the program to open jpgs etc

  TOMSTEPHENSON1 10:37 23 Jun 09

After a total system failure I have recently had Windows XP Professional installed to replace the original Windows XP Home O.S.
I want all jpgs and similar files to be opened by Corel Photo paint (installed and working ok).
In the past I have always done this by right clicking the file icon and selecting properties. Then clicking the 'opens with' change button and choosing Corel Photo paint from the programs shown. The trouble is Corel Photo paint is missing from the list of available programs.

Use the Browse Button and go to C Drive then Program Files then Coral and look for the exe file.

I haven't used Coral for a while but you can usually do this from within photo editing programs themselves

Googling comes up with

Click Tools>Options and navigate to the Global>Filters>Associate section.
