changing power reading of processer

I recently wanted to put an extra hard drive in my computer, but had to clear the c-mos memory before hand to clear a password and gain access to my bios. After completing the task i noticed at both bootup, and in windows, that the power reading of my processer had changed from 500mhz to 400mhz.Someone please tell me how to change it back.

could u tell me the make of your motherboard?

The processor speed can be altered in the BIOS under freq settings...

However, I strongly advise u to review the motherboard manual for the correct settings or reply on this thread with the name and type of motherboard you are using....

I would say it has defaulted to 100mhz fsb, set it to 133 and shall be ok.
