Changing My Documents as default for new files

Can anyone advise how I change the location for new files not to be automatically saved in My Documents. I have recently set up a network between the 3 PC's I have and created folders on the desktops of each showing folders for the others and want to get newly created files to save to hear.

I am using Windows XP Home and Office 2003 on all the PC's.

Any help appreciated.

In Word click on Tools/Options/File Locations and modify the 'Documents' location. For Excel Tools/Options then the General tab and change the default file location. I would think it will be similar for any other applications.

Go into windows explorer and right click on my documents folder
Click on properties, then click on find target. Then brows to the location you want as the new location for your files. Click ok And that should be that.
