I have just got a new PC which came with Internet Explorer7 installed and I would like to change this back to IE6. OS is XP home sp2. How do I go about doing this please?

Uninstall it in add/remove programmes and it should default to IE 6

I maybe to late here,if a new pc,you may find you cannot revert to IE6 as it may not be installed.

New pc's seem to be loaded with IE7.

Why do you want to go back to IE 6?

skidzy, good thought that. It is actually preinstalled with IE7. Where can I find a download of IE6 please.

davidprc, I want IE6 because I have heard that some things won`t run on IE7 and I don`t want to start off with problems with a new machine. Thanks to you and skidzy for your replies.
