I simply can't find the route to re-label my partitioned hard drive with the drive letters that i want (i.e. C, D, and E so that i can put the CD drives as F and G.)

how is this done?

Thanks for any help

Type "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotes into the run command and hit enter. Right Click on the drive you want to change select "Change drive letters and Paths".

Remember you you can't change a drive letter on a Boot or system volume.

Device Manager>Drive>Highlight drive>Properties>change both letters to the one you want.

Should have added Settings tab in above after Properties...:-)
