In xp pro does anyone please know how to change h/drive drive C to become drive E or vica/versa.

Windows knows best in this. Changing drive letters without careful consideration and knowing what you're doing can cause all sorts of difficulties, not least changing "C" to anything else.

It's extremely easy to do in XP Pro... Go into Control Panel> Administrative tools> Computer Management> +Storage, Disk Management, Right click on a drive to reassign drive letters.

Hope this helps ;-)

You may not be able to change the letter of your boot drive without changing the drive to a different place on the IDE cable, or messing about with the BIOS.

You can without any hassle in XP Pro!

You may well be able to do this with infinite ease but there is still the problem of things not being recognised after the juggling, hence my first comments.

Not a thing to be undertaken lightly if you're not fully aware of what you're doing and with all due respect, slimbo51, if you knew what you were doing, you wouldn't be asking about the procedures here.
