Changing default max size in Banner Printing

  dynosor 12:45 07 Aug 03

I have a HP color inkjet cp1700 printer/os winxp prof. The max banner print size is 13" x 50",on the printer setup.
I want to print onto a much longer length of paper,(cut from a roll) maybe 80", for family tree. Is there any way that I can change the printer software to increase the print length?
Thanks in anticipation.

In most word processor/graphics programs there is the facility to set the paper size to anything you want via the page setup button and "Custom" size or just change the size settings at the same place to what you require.

Note it will complain if the width is beyond the range of your printer but length should be unlimited.
