I'm changing my pc into a slightly more modern looking case...

Are all PSU's simialar sized? Could I end up running into problems changing psu?

ATX PSU's have the same footprint.
This unit is the ultimate device in the whole set up.
Dont skimp the pennies on this.

Get the best your lolly can buy-

The ATX connections differe there is a 20 and 24 pin plug or a 24 pin with 20 pin adapter

And for a P4 AMD64 an extra 4 pin plug is required

IF the PSU is labled ATX P4 ready then you will have all the connections you need.

Rember modern processors and graphics card want large constant supply get a good quiet PSU.

If you're just changing case, the old PSU will fit OK
