Could someone please tell me how to change the settings from 8x to 4x. Been into BIOS and the 4x is greyed out, so can't change it there. Is there anywhere else to change the setting? Xp home, 1.9P4. 256mb G/card. Thankyou.

If you have an AGP x8 motherboard...which i assume you have...you do not need to change it back down to x4 as it is backwards compatible!!

lucco51, thaks for the info. It is a 8x AGP card, but when I went into bios, there was only 4x's and it was greyed out. How do I no it's running at 8x's?

You may well only have up to AGP 4x with your MOBO.

Do you know the make and model of your MOBO ?

Indigo 1, I have looked at the m/board and there's no model number. It's a Dell Dimension 4400. I've got this number E210882. Looking around the net, it could be a couple of boards.

Just downloaded sisandra, and it's telling me it's an D845PT motherboard.
