Changed wireless settings - can't get on now!

Hi.

Normally use wireless routers at home and work.

Went on vacation and the hotel had dialup, and I had to go through their settings changes listed in the hotel guide in order to connect.

Now that I'm home, I can't get onto EITHER wireless network! SOS!

I have searched for my ip addy and gotten the error msg that my "Media is disconnected" - related?

It is also showing firewalls on all my connections, but I shouldn't turn those off, right? I had to change something about firewalls to get on @ the hotel...

If I right-click on the icon at bottom-right of the computer 'talking' to the network @ work, it shows I'm connected; I just can't get on-line.

ANY suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! THANKS!

Try System Restore.

Or Network Sharing Centre, Diagnose and Repair.

I have tried system restore, matching that my modems are used by the connections, etc....

I have to think it's something with the settings I changed - does anyone have a diagram of how they should read to be able to use a wireless signal?
