Change of resolution

Can anybody tell me if the Radeon 9200 series 128mb graphics card installed will allow me to change from 1024X768 to 1440X900.
Thanks for any help

You can check for yourself if you -

Right click any space when in desktop
Click Properties
Click Settings

You should see a slider which governs the resolution. Try the maximum to the right and this will show what you can/cannot do.

The answer is almost certainly yes. The only other factor is that the screen refresh rate (in frames per second) may reduce but, if you use an LCD/TFT monitor, generally this won't be noticeable unless, say, you play high-powered games with a lot of movement. HTH.

PS! Silly me, we're presently running a Radeon 9250 (PCI version) which will run to 1600x1200 and more without problem. HTH.
