Change .pds to .jpeg or .TIFF

I've got a photo I've been restoring in Adobe Photoshop Elements which has a .pds file attachment. I want to print it out but not in the middle of the page, which happens if I print from the program. I think there is an option on the printer to print it in the corner of a A4 sheet but it wont recognize the file format, hence I need to change it. Any idea how? TR My OS is XP home

Just open the pds file in Photoshop Elements and click File, Save As, and save it as a .jpg file.

If you put a background or canvas (say in landscape or portrait) as it is referred to, behind your image, you will then be able to move the image on the canvas to wherever you want it to be printed out. Regards David
