i wonder if any-one can help ,daughter got computor at work (her own) foolishly she allowed some one else to put his account on with pass word and now she wants him off with out having to format the hard drive.xp home

Go to the User Accounts in the Control Panel. Assuming she's Administrator, she should be able to do whatever she want with the accounts.
