Hi all,

I have a favourite website shortcut icon on my desktop - curently the mozilla firefox logo but I'd like to change it for a custom logo if posible.

My custom logo is saved as a Gif which doesn't seem to be compatible?

Is there a way round this - should I be savin the custom logo in another file format?

Try converting the gif file to a bmp, then save it and change the file extension from .bmp to .ico. This should work.

ArrGee - a free editor which I'll check out later thanks.

Gongoozler,
Have saved it as a .bmp but how do I convert the file extension to .ico please?

In Windows Explorer, right click on the file, select "Rename", and rename it.
