change in fonts/size

sorry if title is vague.

i should say straight off that her old pc and her new pc both use office 2000 pro.

basically 1 staff had a word file saved on her drive on network. all text was in imoga book. she has new pc now and when she opens that file it is still is imoga book with same font size/etc, but it looks layout/font/style is nothing like the original. it's about 70 pages so not easy to re style with tabs/etc.

any ideas??

many thanks as always

You haven't got the same fonts on the new system as the old!!!

What about paper size? Is it still the same? A change in margins etc could change everything, as could a change in layout.

the margin layout and paper size is saved in the document, so this shouldn't be the cause!!!

Have you tried printing a couple of pages out to see what it looks like. (Perhaps the screen resolution or zoom is simply set differently but the document is the same)
