Sorry dont know about your problem, but just to say the new game is wicked. I'm addicted again after a heavy layoff waiting for this release

A few clues would be useful! What version of Windows? What is the error message?

how much is this game? I believe in GAME it retails for £34.99 - but on their website, for £24.99 - quite a difference

If any of you live in or near Wolverhampton there is a shop that sells games in the Wulfrun Centre much much cheaper than GAME. Well worth travelling to.

Had the same problem. Go to the Microsoft website, type in "installer" under the search engine and there will be a downloadable file. Download it (naturally) and away you go. I am running Windows 98se and that's how I fixed it.
