I use windows 200 pro on an Aopen mobo with a intel celeron433mhz proccessor , can anybody tell me the eqiuvalent pentium cpu?

The Celeron series 1 like yours is actually the Pentium II with a reduced internal cache, that's the only difference.

I don't know if a Pentium III could be run on your motherboard, but even if one could be run it would be the 500 at most and woud gain you nothing detectable.

Normally mobos for series 1 Celerons only support up to the Celeron 533 which again would be no gain, so it's probably time for a motherboard upgrade.
