I have recently fitted a new motherboard and upgraded to windows me. I have drive letters allocated to both drives ok and the device manager lists them both as they always have been and says that they are both working properley (but that no drivers are installed). When I try to install further software it says that the drive is empty, but windows media player will play music cd's from them both. my sony crx140e cdrw drive is not detected by my easy cd creator software or windows media player as a device capable of burning disks. on the bios post it recognises them both as secondary master and slave as atapi cdroms. any suggestions?
