CD Re-naming Very Urgent Please!!

Once you have named and closed a CD, is there any way that you can rename the title of the CD??

Any suggestions or confirmation of 'no' would be much appreciated, no time pressure but i need an answer ASAP!!

I know you won't let me down!!?

Thanks in advance

If you have closed it, I sure the answer is no.

I've just tried remaming it within explorer and its not having it.

Why don't you do another copy and retitle it instead.

Best of luck

hillybilly is correct. The name of the disk is added at the end of the burn process and is used in the finalisation of the the CD-R [although I am not sure if this also applies to re-writables] so therefore cannot be altered once burned.

Can you not just burn another disk & change the name?

Cd-RW are different because you reformat just like a floppy !

Cheers Guys,

You have confirmed my fears that it was not possible. Looks like will have to reburn 25 cds and print new labels. At work and a bit of time pressure, so just wanted to make sure not an easier option.

Thanks again.
