CD image on Hard-drive

Ages ago I came across some software that allows you to create an image of a CD on your hard drive so you dont need to keep putting the disc in each time.

I have just got a laptop with the CD in the docking station, and it would be useful to have this again

Unfortunately I cant track down any of the software tho!! Any recommendations...esp if freeware.

Is this what you mean?
I use it and it works very well.

I've got VirtualDrive from a cover disk some time ago and it works great. It's version 6.2 and works with XP - only thing is that it won't load DVDs.

click here for a free program that does similar.

Virtual CD was the one I was thinking of..suddenly remembered it. Also found you can download it from this website!
