"Unable to continue due to a corrupt target disk, a software error or an unforseen problem"

Any Roxio users shedd some light?

How are you copying the audio CD are you using disk copy or music Cd project

  Joe McG 19:49 05 Jan 03

Scouse, what speed are you recording at.? Are you copying on the fly.?

  Scouse 22:10 06 Jan 03

using disk copy utility and recording at 24x.

  DieSse 22:19 06 Jan 03

Try it slower - say 8 speed, or even 4 speed. De-activate AV checking before you start.

  Quiller. 22:21 06 Jan 03

IF you are doing audio c\d's drop the speed down to about 2/3 of max. If your machine is a 24 max write, try at 16 speed.

To copy audio disk in Roxio
Disk copy is no good for copying audio use easy CD creator.
Put music CD in CD rom put CD R in RW.
Open Easy cd creator (or if project selector opens click on make a muic cd)top window you will find Audio tracks sellect the first track go to edit select all click on the arrow under add this will add track to bottom window you can from here drag tracks into any order.
Go into tools/CD properties sellect CD rom drive you will notice a box stating audio resync (suggested for this drive) check box. Sellect next drive (CD RW)this should again stating audio resync if it says not necessary leave blank. Close. Press the record button and hopefuly you will have your copy.
