CD boot

Every time I try to play a CD, the system goes blank and tries to boot up from the CD. I had the same problem several weeks ago and thought it had something to do with the settings for boot devices in bios. I posted a few ideas then and thought the problem had been solved but now it's back. I'm using windows XP sp2 and my present boot sequence is, 1,hdd0 2,CD 3.floppy any suggestions please.

probably the autorun option in Windows, this wouldn't have any link to the boot order as BIOS isn't involved after windows starts
