CD Autostart

In the 'open' options box for CD ROM (XP) I only get to chose from Music , Pictures or Blank CD.

How do I increase these options to include Data etc.
Also I have forgotten how to select the CD to Autostart.

In XP if you click on My computer and then right click on your CD rom, select properties from the menu and then click on autoplay you can pick from the drop down list what you want in your 'open options' box when you insert a cd. These are your auto start options I think you will find.

Thanks Nellie2, but in the options box I only have the choice of Music or Pictures or Blank CD---how can I get Data CD or similar in there ?

when I have a data cd I usually choose the option to open folder.... you could try putting your dot in the radio button 'select an action to perform, the restore defaults button becomes available then. You could try restoring the defaults.
