cause of error message ??

My OS is Win ME. I sometimes get an error message
saying that em_exec has caused an error in Kernel.
dll and that em_exec will now close. I click close on the message and continue working ok.
I have tried going to start, run and typing msconfig and then going to startup and removing the tick in em_exec box and this does not seem to cause any problems except that the icon for my Logitech optical mouse is removed from the systray
but the mouse works ok. Can anyone tell me the reason for the error message and how to deal with it please. Meshuga.

The Logitech MouseWare Trayicon from which you can access the Control Panel Mouse properties and the MouseWare help.Just keep it out of startup and run it from the start bar if needed. I had to get rid of mine too.
