Just heard that at least one local gov IT Dept is sending out warnings today re this virus, which apparently "permanently" destroys your hard disk. It's further said that McAfee has no vacine against it and that it has been an immense prob in New York at least and that CNN has been carrying news of it. Anybody aware?

Have just been told by another IT source that this is an old "recycled" scam - ie there is no virus - but as you are told to send it to everyone in your address book the intention is to clog up the Internet. Sorry if I have raised unnecessary alarms.
